RANGERS FUTSAL
ACADEMY
The Rangers Futsal Academy grew from 9 teams (2022) to 29 teams (2024). Our mission is to grow the love of futsal in our area, while using it as a tool to develop the players within our club, affiliate organizations and other clubs. Our players train with specialized futsal professional trainers 1x/week and compete in 2-3 tournaments. We are excited to bring the Rangers Futsal Academy back in 2025, and will have tryouts to ensure we can select the most competitive teams possible to accelerate our players development opportunity.

Hiring of Paulo Ferreira as the Futsal Academy Director
Facility Partnership deal with Sofive Hatfield (formerly XL Sports World)
Enhanced training environment ill better prepare the players for the speed of play they face in the competitions
Moved all training dates to either Friday evening or Saturday Morning/afternoon to reduce conflicts with club teams/other sport schedules
Addition of new tiers:
RFA- Regional Team
RFA- State Team
RFA- Developmental Team
Provide more surface area for players to maximize their touches and play time
SEASONAL INFORMATION
The season will run from December 5th through February 14th
We will be off around the December holiday and return after New Year’s
Once tryouts conclude we will send out roster offers for the futsal program
These teams will train 1x/week and compete in 2-3 tournaments
Training/tournament schedules will be released in the offer letters after tryouts
Training will be either Friday Evening or Saturday morning/afternoon
